Step 1: Bronzer
Apply on the top of the cheekbones and on the high points of the forehead.
this will create a “c-shape”.
I like to personally add a little on the sides of my nose and just under the chin around the “adams apple”.
Step 2: Accent Highlight
a.k.a. Concealer
Tap under your eye, starting a little lower and working your way up and out.
Use as little product as possible otherwise it will look cakey.
Step 3: Main Highlight
a.k.a. Foundation
Fill in the blank spaces.
Be careful not to use too much product. You can always add more, if you feel you need to.
Blend everything together.
Step 4: Cheek Color & Illuminator
Don’t skip the cheek color!
Add a touch of color on the top part of the cheek bone. You can add a lighter second color on the apples of the cheeks.
Blend color upwards. Tap a little illuminator on the very top of the cheekbones.
Step 5: Eyebrows
Eyebrows are the first thing a person sees when face to face with you.
You want to make sure that your eyebrows are not too far apart. Only a finger width.
Fill in your brows.
Step 6: Eyes
Apply one shade all over the lid, then tap a little shimmer on the lower lid. You can then add your darkest shade on the outside corner to add dimension.
I personally like to add a little of the darkest shade to the inner corner of the eye as shown here.
Step 7: Lips
Finish off with your lip shade.
This shade could be the same color as your cheeks.
I like to line my lips with eyeshadow color: Oak.
Step 8: Contour
Squeeze your brush and apply under the cheekbones. You can also add contour on the top of your forehead, jawline and sides of the nose.
I like to do the contour last because I might not need as much at the end. Some do it in the beginning. It’s your preference.
